Bar Card to work as a bouncer in NJ?

Does anyone know about how to obtain one to work in Bergen County? I called 2 police headquarters and was told one only issued Ab cards and the other only handles bar cards for their city alone. Can anyone also tell me what sort of thing is looked for on your police record? Thanks.
