My rabbit is acting hostile?

we found her about 2or 3 weeks ago, she is meant to be a pet, and recently she is pooing and peeing alot more than she did before also whenever i start to sweet it up she begins to attack the broom and right now im too scared to even try to pick her up because he might bite me any theories as to why she is acting this way?
