Is it haram to delete The Koran from my Kindle?

I have just read yet another translation of The Koran, this time as a free ebook on my Amazon Kindle. Admittedly, the original Arabic version (not the inferior modern Arabic version) is more poetic and aesthetically pleasing. However, this book, in whatever form, is still inferior to other ancient works of fiction (such as the works of Homer) and I would like to know whether deleting it from my Kindle is the electronic equivalent of burning a paper copy, and whether the fictional deity of the story is likely to try to burn my ears in retribution.
