Research purposes: wrist slashing?

I'm writing a book where the main character slashes her wrists and dies at the end (i know, a bit morbid). Anyway, i was wondering if anyone knew how long it takes to die afterward, and when and if the person will p out. Some stuff needs to happen before she pes out, if that happens. Thank You!!!
