A movie, book and screenplay?

Memoirs of a Geisha is about Japan, not China, so if you're going to go with your China theme you might be better of with something like "Curse the Golden Flower" (which, as far as I can tell, is basically about what happens when a woman gets too uppity and tries to control things herself).
