I think something is inside my left ear Help!!?

I keep feeling something crawling around inside their and it's driving me inside. I tried patting my head to one side to remove it but i cant get it out. I can't sleep or anything i tried putting a cotton bud inside aswell but it just seems to go deeper. Can anyone help me i'm really worried i think it might be a maggot because i'm a fisherman by trade.
