I have an imigration question please Help me!!!!!!!

I married my husband in el salvador in 1988 and had a son and my husband mom made a petition for us three in 1990,i separated from my husband and came to the U.Sin 1997 with no doents, in 2002 the petition was complete and they gave my husband and son the permanent resident, and my husband told imigration that i was in critical sick condition that couldn't travel to the U.S , and now i would like to know if that petition is still valid?????
