Help! Broom weed is taking over my yard. ?

I have a home in north Texas and for some reason I have some form of broom weed growing all over my yard. It is more of a wild shrub than a weed. But it sure looks like broom weed. I have a very large yard and it would take days upon days to pull it all by hand. Is there anything I can spray on my yard to kill this stuff. Thanks
