Gall Bladder and Itching?

I am a 27 year old female. I was just informed after a HIDA scan that my gall bladder function is 10%, and I have an appointment with surgeon in a couple of days. This wait was ok'd by my doctor. I really can't eat much because it flares up and is painful. I have had blood work and an ultrasound which were both normal. Now I am starting to itch a bit. Is this normal? Has anyone had this before?
