Dewormer medication - two doses given by accident?

Hi. My cat was treated for dewormer - the second installment. The vet gave him two doses of it at once by accident (he thought it was my second cat). Is this okay? He said that it is not toxic medication and that it is okay, but I'm still worried. It was a yellow medication administered by syringe. Is it okay? Someone fill me in....
